伊坂ダムサイクルパーク

四日市北部の伊坂町にある「伊坂ダムサイクルパーク」

ダム湖の管理用道路を利用した1周3.6kmのウォーキングコースは緑豊かな自然に囲まれており、小鳥や草花に親しむことができる。

11月下旬、この公園を訪れた。

すでに何度か来たことはあったが紅葉の季節は初めてだ。

まず目につくのはやはり広大なダム湖。

市沿岸部に広がる工業地帯に大量の水を供給するため、1966年に竣工されたという。

伊坂ダムがいくつもの化学工場を、この工業都市・四日市を支えているのである。

カヌーをしている人たちも確認できる。

2021年には「三重とこわか国体」のカヌーの競技場にも決まっていたが、残念なことにコロナ禍により国体自体が中止になってしまった。

眼下には東名阪自動車道（Ep.63参照）が。右手の丘の上にあるのはキオクシア四日市工場（Ep.193参照）

“サイクルパーク”と称するように、この公園の売りは、ユニークな各種自転車が揃えられサイクリングが楽しめるところ。

ダム湖外周をレンタル自転車でサイクリングすることはもちろん、「サイクル広場」で“変わり種”自転車に挑戦することもできる。

サイクリングと紅葉を楽しめた晩秋の良い一日となった。

Isaka Dam Cycling Park

Ep.203

Isaka dam which supplies large quantity of water to combinatorial area is located in the north of Yokkaichi.

This contributes much production at factories, chemical plants and development this huge industrial city.

And also it provides citizens amusement facility as “Isaka dam cycling park”.

People can walk around this dam rake with watching birds, flowers and beautiful nature sight.

But the biggest feature is cycling. We choose some very unique bicycles and enjoy cycling!
